We are a civil engineering company with a turnover of £3m and we directly employ some 41 staff. We use our own vehicles, plant and equipment most of which is owned outright.
We offer a one stop shop solution to all your needs for groundwork packages. Our Managerial, Q/S and construction staff are highly valued for their input by our clients in working together to resolve site problems, safely and quickly.
As part of our serious commitment to a safe workplace, we have IOSH, RASWA, mobile towers, and Confined spaces accreditation for management. All sites have inductions and regular toolbox talks as well as risk assessments, method statements and COSHHE assessments.
Our highly skilled and qualified management and staff have worked together under different companies for several years and we have brought them together as one team for the last two years. We are currently carrying out further training and assessment to ensure that all site staff hold NVQ’s CSCS and CPCS cards for the relevant disciplines.
We carry out drainage, hard and soft landscaping, kerbing, reinforced and un-reinforced structures and slabs, earthworks, ducting, connections etc. on a variety of packages, Labour and Plant, Labour, Plant and Materials, Fixed price or rates and are currently working to high standards in safety and quality for Carillion, Laing O'Rourke, John Sisk and Son Ltd, Eric Wright, MPB Structures Ltd, Nobles Contractors. We have previously worked for other MCG companies and larger construction companies.
Current contracts include £1.5m groundworks to two new hospital wings including excavation, drainage, slabs, car-parks and hard and soft landscaping; £600k groundworks to new prison wings including excavation, drainage, reinforced concrete structures, etc carried out on a very tight two month period; £370k roads and sewers to high rise apartments
Past contracts include underground structures and car parks etc to tower blocks at Salford Quays Manchester and Liverpool, accommodation works at Rathbone and Mossley Hill hospitals and carriageway works to drainage at Halewood in Liverpool. Our most recent completion was a combined heat and power building to the new printworks at Speke in the sum of £1.5m. This included a large building slab with a 7m deep 45m x 20m underground r/c concrete basement and roof.
